PinkLabel.TV Studio Submission

Inspired by the creativity and originality of the movies presented at adult film festivals, Shine Louise Houston created PinkLabel.TV to provide an online hosting platform where independent adult filmmakers can reach a global audience.

We aim to provide artists a streaming platform with in-house technical and customer support, payment processing through reputable adult billers CCBill and EPOCH, DMCA copyright protection, promotion and affiliate marketing, and helpful resources including filmmakers newsletters with marketing tips, casting announcements, event calendars, festival submission announcements, and more.

Often described as a ‘Criterion Collection’ of adult films, we strive for unique and landmark titles that stand apart in their craft, depictions of bodies and desires, and subjects not often represented in conventional porn. Spanning niche and sub-genre, most of our films are sourced from International film festivals and feminist porn awards. PinkLabel.TV seeks to complement film festival selections with alternative distribution for filmmakers whose work pushes the genre and expands the landscape of sexual cinema.

We will also request a text description of the video and a list of performers’ stage names, descriptive video tags or content notes, and a description of your studio and a logo or headshot.

CONTRACTS

All studios will sign an agreement and submit a tax form. If you have a US tax ID or SSN, you will receive a W9. If you reside outside the US and do not have a US tax ID, you will receive a W8BEN.

CUSTODIAN OF RECORDS

You must maintain proper records for your films. Records consists of: model release forms, music licenses (your music must be used with permission of copyright owner), and US law 2257 proof of age affidavit (template here) with photocopies of government-issued photo IDs. You will be required to provide us: the dates in which your content was produced, the physical address (open during business hours; not a PO Box) of where 2257 paperwork is kept, and the legal name of the custodian of records. (First name initial is permitted.) We embed this information within a link on the film’s public page. You may opt to use a records service, such as 2257sentry.com or 2257snap.com for privacy. More information about 2257 regulation can be found here. Titles older than 1995 are exempt from 2257 regulation.

THE PROCESS:

We review new studio acquisitions quarterly. To prepare for review, contact us with the following information:

  1. Provide screening links/passwords to view the films you would like to have licensed.
  2. Supply basic film information, including any festival premieres and award nominations.
  3. Confirm that you obtain the proper paperwork, custodian of records information, and model release forms for commercial distribution. (ie: “I confirm that I obtain the appropriate legal releases.”)

Due to the high level of inquiries, we may not be able to reply to your email. We are a small team and all films are optimized and published by our staff. We may not be able to accept all submissions. If we are interested in licensing your work, we will reply within 3-4 months. Thank you and looking forward to reviewing your films!
