A QUICK FIX has received “Best Lesbian Short Film” Award at the 2024 PornFilmFestival Berlin. Here’s a moving statement from the film’s director and star, Manon Praline.

This is HUGE for me.
When I first filmed porn in 1012, right before I got on E, the only representations of Transfem sexuality I found were from the mainstream. I was feeling isolated and had this urge to scream at the world I was a lesbian. But with the shape of my body back then and the circles I was in, I could only experiment with that in the bedroom. Therefore I wanted to film my sex life and throw it around so that everyone could see it.
Well, moving to Berlin definitely helped on that matter. 😂

I made my first appearance at PornFilmFestival Berlin in 2017 and since then, I’ve been filming as much as I could. But no matter how much I would shoot, it felt like it would never be enough!

Today, after over ten years of transitioning, I’m in a place where I feel comfortable and actually satisfied with the way I look and how I move through the world. It is especially moving for me to have the PornFilmFestival Berlin team giving me this acknowledgement as the festival is one of the biggest inspirations in my porn journey.
