Kinks & Coffee and Wicked Wanda's are proud to present...Forbidden Films at the Mayfair!Join us for an afternoon of sensual cinema at the Mayfair, Ottawa’s oldest active movie theater, where we will showcase short erotic films that explore the spectrum of human sexual desire. For the second edition of this new event series, we have partnered with PinkLabel.TV!
Inspired by the creativity and originality of the erotic movies she saw at international adult film festivals, director Shine Louise Houston created PinkLabel.TV to provide a streaming platform that supports emerging and independent adult filmmakers and presents their films to a global audience. Often described as a “Criterion Collection” of sexual cinema, PinkLabel.TV’s catalogue hosts a wide array of films. Viewers can discover movies spanning softcore to hardcore, narrative and experimental, historical films from as early as the 1920’s, documentaries, and more. Films that push the genre give challenge to conventional expectations of what sex should look like, with much needed depictions of underrepresented bodies and desires.
This event will feature six short films from PinkLabel.TV:
- Beat It (Rachel Britton): A frog awaits a punishment from his bodacious bride.
- Mommy (Manon Praline): Six years after her bottom surgery, Manon Praline shares a moving testimony of the challenges and joys she has encountered.
- Funghi Boost (Bande James Bond): A strange quest for magical shroomies and extravagant treasures turns into terrific encounters with a mischievous diamond-loving fairy, unscrupulous gremlins and a thundering Vampirella Kinqueen. From desire to desire, how far will the adventure take us?
- Helping Hand (Atomic Cheesecake): Freshie Juice ties Loisplz for a photo shoot while the two discuss their experiences with shibari.
- Heavenly Spire (Shine Louise Houston): Short: Rough, anonymous sex with little negotiation occupy Jessie’s fantasies of late and the strong and muscular Jack HammerXL is all the more willing to oblige.
- Fuck Your Friends (AORTA Films): While getting ready to go out to a play party, Dulce, Dee, Oran, and Priestex can’t help but wonder, “…are there going to be any other Black people there?” Opting for the hotness of a four-way friend fuck, everyone gets their wishes (and holes) filled…and then some!
There will be a short panel discussion before the screening starts focused on issues of queer identity and body representation in media.
Schedule:
- 3:30 - 4:15 pm - Panel discussion
- 4:15 - 5:15 pm - Screening of films
*This is a 19+ event. Photo ID is required**Student discount code is available. Please e-mail the organizer with your student e-mail to obtain it: kinksandcoffee2020@gmail.com (edited)

"The sexual freedom of today for most people is really only a convention, an obligation, a social duty, a social anxiety, a necessary feature of the consumer's way of life." - Pier Paolo Pasolini
"If you are going to make a film about sexual revolution, it's best to put your Marxism where your mouth is and make the movie sexually explicit, or even better, pornographic, prioritising praxis over theory." - Bruce LaBruce
THE VISITOR is a British-set reimagining of Pier Paolo Pasolini’s 1968 film TEOREMA. Pasolini’s enigmatic protagonist, known to everyone as “the visitor”, arrives at the house of an upper-class family and seduces each family member one after the other. When he suddenly departs, he leaves behind an emptiness for which the rest attempt to compensate in different ways. In Bruce LaBruce’s THE VISITOR, it is a refugee who washes up in a small suitcase on the banks of the River Thames in London. He is one of several identical-looking men who simultaneously emerge from suitcases in other locations around the city. Dressed in the guise of a homeless man, he arrives at the house of an upper-class family and gets to know the maid. When she passes him off as her nephew, the family invites him to also work for them as a live-in servant. The guest makes love with each of the residents of the house one after the other, depicted in explicit sex scenes. Each member of the household experiences a radical sexual and spiritual transformation.
The Seattle Erotica Cinema Society brings world-class erotic films to Seattle audiences throughout the year, inspiring diverse communities to engage in adult conversations about sex. SECS Fest, an annual sex-positive festival celebrating the artistry of erotic cinema, will be held at the Beacon Cinema in Fall 2025!
