Thyrsis and Chloris

Silvia Marcantoni Taddei

4 min. Directed by Silvia Marcantoni Taddei

Curator's Note:

Director's Statement: This film is the third and last part of Monteverdi's music-inspired trilogy. Thyrsis and Chloris are respectively a shepherd and a nymph, two common characters from Greek and later Latin literature. They are basically light-hearted lovers, always engaged in playful, dynamic love situations. So here you have two playful lovers, just like Thyrsis and Chloris. No clickbait this time too! It's my first movie depicting love towards armpits, until cumming into them. It is very important to me because I only started regrowing my armpit hair very recently, after fully accepting my transmasc identity. Feeling my armpit hair is loved gives me great euphoria. A little music curiosity: the first two videos of Monteverdi's series have very little samples of original music recorded by an orchestra. This time we couldn't find a recording that mixed up with electronics the way we liked, so I had to sing the soprano part that pops out from time to time.

Description:

A black and white vision of anal sex and armpit adoration between two real lovers/performers. The title pays homage to Monteverdi’s madrigal “Tirsi e Clori”.

Directed & edited by Silvia Marcantoni Taddei
Performers: Silvia Marcantoni Taddei & Massimo Sannelli
Music: AnimaeNoctis from Claudio Monteverdi
