Director Jack Deveau's final film brings an authentic story with real characters to the screen in its charming depiction of the world of male burlesque at Times Square's Gaiety Theatre! Like the Adonis Theater and the infamous Mineshaft, the world of Times Square is gone forever, but captured in this Hand in Hand Films classic.
The story focuses on new guy Darryl (Buddy Preson), who lands a job as a dancer at the Gaiety Male Burlesk and struggles to find an act that will dazzle his audience. Darryl is encouraged and inspired by his fellow dancers (including Luke, Jack Moore, Peter Lopez, Jerry Overton, and Tony West). Cock and ball dance numbers are introduced by the costumed M.C. (Richard Lange) and the sexy, entertaining stage performances intertwine with sex scenes and amusing backstage banter between performers.
"...something of a hybrid - a cross between a straightforward (gayforward?) sex film and a plotted narrative." - Gay Scene
"This film, Jack Deveau's last, features an attractive and diverse cast, and an exciting musical score... His passion for preserving sexuality and sensuality on screen goes unsurpassed with this near-perfect production." - Torso
