Krutch

KRUTCH is a steamy, experimental short film exploring perception, sexuality, disability and gender on the streets –and in the sheets! — of New York City.

Made with collaborator and star Mia Gimp, KRUTCH explores topics of disability, perception, and authenticity through representation and authorship. The film was written and directed by Clark Matthews and produced by Mat Fraser. Star Mia Gimp, an accomplished performer, works within disability, gender, sexuality, and queerness. For all three collaborators, the film was their first endeavor into movie making, and their first erotic film.

KRUTCH has screened at theaters and across premiere adult film festivals, from CineKink (NYC) to San Francisco PornFilmFestival (SF) to PinkScreens (Brussels) and Wonderlust (Helsinki). It is not available online, due of performers’ privacy concerns, so it you are lucky to have a screening come to your town, be sure to attend!

In the meantime, enjoy this interview by Lynsey G filmed during CineKink 2013, where the film was awarded Best Dramatic Short.
