PinkLabel.TV has partnered with Excentrico Festival to present a virtual catalogue of the event’s selected films. Attendees from around the world can experience the films presented by the popular Chilean festival.

The festival is presented entirely in Spanish, and all non-Spanish films have Spanish subtitles.

The festival is in it’s third year and offers films from 17 countries, with a significant number of titles from Latin America. A highlight is it’s New Chilean Porn program, which offers 13 short films released within recent years in response to a call for “Ethics, politics and poetics of the new Chilean porn”.

Additional curations from South America include “PopPorn: 10 years of resistance in Brazil”, curated by Tino Monetti, film programmer, and member-curator of the collective and festival of sexualities PopPorn in Brazil; “Putxs on Screen: First Person Portraits of Sex Work”, curated by María Riot, Argentinian sex worker and sex worker rights activist; “A Contra Corriente: BeDeSeMeros Audiovisual Hits”, curated by Oscar David Tamayo (AKA Severina), promoter of marginalized cultures linked to the BDSM Festival in Bogotá; and “Heterotraitor porn: a look at hetero-Anormado pleasures”, curated by Paula Vidal, founder and creative director of the Excentrico exhibition.

For fans of post-porn and those curious to see the vibrant political and passionate films that the creators from these areas have to share, Excentrico Festival is a must-see!
