See Me - A close up of Mel as she looks at the camera

An award-winning short film by Bright Desire, Mel Lou revels in her own sexual being as a woman with cerebral palsy and brings herself to climax. But is that all? A powerful statement on disability, perception, and the visual representation of female sexuality, SEE ME dares the viewer to look. In an article on her blog, director Ms. Naughty writes that she produced the film because she “wanted to help Mel make porn that represented her. We need to show disabled people as sexual and that film is my contribution to that.”

It’s a beautiful work and one of still too few examples of performer-driven adult films that thoughtfully seek to showcase the humanity and wholeness of disabled people.

Note: This film has no subtitles as it has no dialogue, but is scored to rock music.

Who do you see?
A stereotypical “good girl”?
Someone who needs your sympathy?
I want to embed your soul.
I am your fantasy.
Your breasts, your lips, your ass, your cock… Your breath, your tongue, your clit… Your cunt, your moan…
Fuck, I want it all!
