February we added over two dozen new films to PinkLabel.TV, spanning classic to contemporary, animation to explicit sex, and documentaries on sex work and sex icons. This month, we celebrate the early films of late feminist filmmaker Candida Royalle, known as the Godmother of Feminist Porn. Candida’s erotic films in the 1980s and 1990s inspired a new wave of women-made films that acknowledge a female audience and carved out a market in porn for couples. We’ll be celebrating her work in March in honor of Women’s History Month. Stay tuned!
Here are highlights from our recent additions.
If you haven’t joined yet, subscribe to PinkLabel PLUS and enjoy unlimited access to all of these films all for the price of one membership.
A portrait of iconic feminist pornographer Candida Royalle.
Candice Vadala aka Candida Royalle is known by many as the “godmother of feminist porn.” She began her career as an adult performer at the height of the sexual revolution, and in her thirties turned to directing and producing her own films, which flipped the male gaze on its head by focusing on women’s sexual pleasure. She produced pioneering porn that was radically different from the mainstream and invited women to proudly explore and celebrate their sexuality.
In Candice, director Sheona McDonald goes beyond the headlines to craft a layer ed portrait of the woman behind the icon. The film captures Vadala in her sixties when, confronted with an ovarian cancer diagnosis, she is eager to tell her story in her words and to confront questions that have haunted her since childhood. Through intimate conversations, in true cinema verité style, McDonald portrays Candice as a prolific filmmaker, entrepreneur, and advocate for women’s rights, but also as a woman coming to terms with a tumultuous personal life. Candice is ultimately a tribute to a resilient woman who unapologetically carved her own path. The dialogue she brought forward on sex positivity and women’s sexual autonomy echoes far beyond the adult film industry.
Who says wax play can’t be therapeutic? Reclamation is all about leaning into kink as healing, self care, and community love. Three friends gather on the solstice to practice a healing ritual involving massaging, fists, and hot wax. Together they pamper each other and celebrate their bodies before forming a bond with a very special seal. In Reclamation we celebrate Black bodies, Brown bodies, fat bodies, disabled bodies, hypermobile bodies, chronically ill bodies, and trans bodies.
A weekend is spent following two independent sex workers who spend time creating content and discussing the pros and cons about being an adult content creator.
Jamal Phoenix wants to be a good boy for Mister Timotheus. Bound to the X-cross, Timotheus provides all sorts of tortures to Jamal’s aching body. Asking for more, Jamal’s mouth is stuffed with cock, spit, fingers and toys. Phoenix’s pussy gets filled too with Timotheus’ throbbing cock. His dick is also willing to release on Jamal’s hot squirming body and ends up coming all over it. Like we said, all that Jamal wants is to be good boy.
“Shibari is an erotic art, which consists in restraining someone by using thin ropes.”
This is how Claire, who is modeling in Japan, describes the subject to Chloé, a journalist who has come to Tokyo to write about it. The two women soon grow attracted to each other.
After a long time of forced inactivity, “Fuck the Fascism” returns to the streets of Berlin to fuck some monuments and share information about war during pandemic times.
Alex is relaxing at home when suddenly two girls knock on his door asking for help.
Without being able to avoid it, Alex will find himself involved in a twisted game where the most kinky and macabre will be evoked.
The two mysterious girls will appear to make him spend a night he will never forget.
Sweet Sweet Kink takes a sweet, sweet peek into the kinky world of bondage, dominance, and sadomasochism through stories of intimate connection, consensual exploration, and deep self-reflection. What is our vanilla perception of the world of kink and BDSM? Dark dungeons, leather corsets, red rooms, riding crops, cracking whips, painful screams, public sex? While these aren’t completely false perceptions, they only represent a small, out of context, a piece of Kink and BDSM. What’s lying underneath the toys, spanking, and St. Andrew’s crosses? Trust, consent, lifelong partnership, intimacy, acceptance, therapeutic healing, community, exploration, and honesty. Through three vignettes, we will follow four kinky storytellers reminiscing on the moments of exciting ‘firsts’, the long journey of healing, and beginnings of lifelong relationships.
A cruising area takes on majestic proportions as we discover Greek-esque male bodies in the forest. The sonnets 18, 57, 20 by William Shakespeare add to the Midsummer Nights Dream like ambience.
PD is a short film and poem, began as homage to the book Derek Jarman’s Garden. Photos by Howard Sooley. Filmed entirely with a mobile phone.

Chandler is an emerging pornstar and self-described sexual deviant in Toronto. Meaghan is an empath and aspiring actor making art films in LA. They both happen to have cerebral palsy, and they’re sick of normative standards of beauty getting in the way of their dreams. A raw portrait of two distinct journeys to shift social perceptions of sexuality and disability.
