We’re often asked for recommendations of adult videos that teach sex ed. Old School Classics

Sex-Ed Supplements

Adult film studios recognize the importance of sexual health information, even if their own projects are not centered on sex ed. Many create supplemental projects to bridge the gap between entertainment and education.

CrashPadSeries.com offers a queer sexual health and resource guide and invites sex educators to review episodes and share advice that ranges from safety tips to sex toys. The studio allows curious members to watch cast and crew create scenes in real-time through a livestream voyeur cam. Each episode has a behind the scenes video where performers discuss safer sex practices and the challenges and rewards of filming porn.

LUST produces a Lust Ed series where guest performers and educators cover various sex topics. Performers’ first serious experiences within sexual health and pleasure can happen when they enter the adult film industry. Organizations seek to help new performers such as the Free Speech Coalition’s INSPIRE project (FSC is the adult industry trade organization) and Adult Performer Advocacy Committee. Films that aim to depict cinematic realistic sex include work by Blue Artichoke Films, Petra Joy, AltShiftXXX, and Ms. Naughty’s Bright Desire (check out Trinity). Blk Touch beautifully showcases Black couples. Royale Fetish Films features movies by its reigning couple King Noire and Jet Setting Jasmine. High-art and experimental porn can provide illumination, eschewing the sexual script and defying viewer expectations.
